Planned Matings |
Plans are just plans, and cats being cats sometimes don’t co-operate with those plans and things alter! Although we can make an educated guess as regards to the colours that could occur from these matings, there is no guarantee that we’ll get them all- we never quite know until the kitties are born and even then it can sometimes take a little time for colours to become apparent. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you would like to be considered for a Norskwood Kittie, or if you would just like more information about us or the cats. | Planned Matings 2010 |
13th January 2010: Buffy and Greebo are having a wonderful time mating in
the snow! We are keeping paws crossed that they will have kitties in the
middle of March. Buffy is renowned for producing litters of kittens in a
variety of different colours, and both she and Greebo carry the solid gene.
Colours they could have include Brown Tabby, Silver Tabby, Silver Tortie
Tabby girls, Red Silver Tabby boys, Red Tabby boys, Black Smoke, Solid
Black, Tortie Tabby girls- although it might be that this time she has a
litter of kittens all one colour! Please phone Ali for more information on
their babies. |

Willow is on a romantic break with Lir at the time of writing (4th January 2010), and is enjoying herself immensely! Lir is a very handsome and affectionate young man who was imported from Poland by our good friends John and Caroline Tipper. Both Willow and Lir are big cats with excellent coats, boning and long tails. They both also have that very special slightly “wild” look that Norwegians should have and which belies their wonderful temperament.
We are hoping that we have beautiful big bouncing kittens in March 2010 from them. Possibe colours are Black/Brown Tabby, Black Silver Tabby and solid Black. Willow always has wonderful kittens (Greebo being a case in point!), and we’re very excited about this special mating.
