Planned Matings

Plans are just plans, and cats being cats sometimes don’t co-operate with those plans and things alter! Although we can make an educated guess as regards to the colours that could occur from these matings, there is no guarantee that we’ll get them all- we never quite know until the kitties are born and even then it can sometimes take a little time for colours to become apparent. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you would like to be considered for a Norskwood Kittie, or if you would just like more information about us or the cats. Please scroll down to see adored cats and kittens from previous litters.

Planned Matings 2011
December 2011

We think that Sparky is pregnant, and if she is she’ll be due her kittens in the end of January 2012. Colours she could have (although we won’t know until they’re born!) are: Red Tabbies, Solid Reds, Black Tabbies, Tortie Tabbies, Solid Black, and possibly dilute colours i.e. Blue Tabbies, Solid Blue, Cream Tabbies, Solid Cream and Blue Torties. All these colours could be with or without White.

We think that Brea is pregnant to Cracker and hopefully will be due her kittens in the middle of January 2012 and colours could be the same as for Sparky and as Brea is a Tortie and has been mated to Cracker she could have Red girls or Cream girls. Brea definitely carries the Dilute gene and there is a great possibility of Blues and Creams (her first litter with Blue Boo were all Blues, Creams and Blue Torties).

Next year we’re looking forward to mating Conchita and Sookie. Buffy will have her last litter with Blue Boo. We’re also looking forward to using our new stud boy “Fatty” aka Champion NL*Sterrenkattens Bear Hug who is a Black Tabby and White imported from The Netherlands. Fatty carries the Dilute gene and is a big boy with great coat quality, lovely ears with lynx tips, a really wild look and the most soppy temperament. If you’d like to know more then please phone Ali on 0208 529 8114.

Kittens from Previous Litters
We keep in regular contact with everyone who has had kitties from us and we love to get photos of our offspring- each and every kitten will always be special to us and it’s fantastic to see them grow up and know they are with people who adore them.
