My name is Conchita (con Queso), and I am very proud to announce the birth of my second litter of wonderful kittens. I gave Roly Poly the “come on” through the mesh of the cat garden and he seized the moment in both paws when Tasha our cat sitter came one evening when Mum and Dad were away to feed us. He zipped past her at speed- he just couldn’t resist my gorgeous eyes you know!

Poor Tash had to run around the cat garden picking up random cats and checking to see if they were boys or girls. When she found Roly and returned him to his quarters the deed had been done: 65 days later and 5 beautiful bouncing babies were born on 4th August 2012.

There are 3 Black Silver and White Tabby Boys, one Black Silver Tabby Girl and one Black Silver Tabby and White Girl. They are very affectionate and confident little souls and I’m taking very good care of them. They will all be neutered, fully vaccinated, micro chipped, registered with Felis Britannica/FIFe and insured with Petplan for 4 weeks when they leave for their new homes in the middle of November 2012. Both Roly Poly and Conchita are GSD IV negative meaning that the kittens are too.

We’re expecting a litter from Treacle (who was mated to CH Mountain Spirit Hopalong Harry) mid August. The litter will be Black Tabbies, with the slight possibility of solid Black/Blue or Blue Tabbies. We think that Buffy could be pregnant with her last ever litter to Blue Boo. All kittens will be dilutes, there could be solid Blues and Creams, Blue Silver Tabbies Smokes and in the case of girls Tortie/Creams- with Buff-Puff who knows?! If pregnant then she will be due her kittens about the same time as Treacle. I so hope that she has a nice Blue girl for us to keep.

Betty was mated to Blue Boo and we’re waiting to see if she’s pregnant- if so she will be due kittens in September. All we can expect from that mating are solid Blues. Steve would like a nice Blue Boy from Betty and Blue Boo- he has a thing for solid Blues.

Plans are just plans, and cats being cats sometimes don’t co-operate with those plans and things alter! Although we can make an educated guess as regards to the colours that could occur from these matings, there is no guarantee that we’ll get them all- we never quite know until the kitties are born and even then it can sometimes take a little time for colours to become apparent.
