Hello once again, Buffy here putting paw to keyboard. This has been another week that has flown by so quickly, and another week that hasn't been so warm thankfully. My baby is 6 weeks old today- how did that pass so quickly? |

Anya-Kitten is growing before our very eyes and is getting prettier by the day (or perhaps that's 'cos I'm her Mum and I'm biased!). She's really taken to her paws this week and seems to go everywhere turbo-charged at top speed. She's decided that she can jump between sofas in the living room, and will often pounce on me or Izzy and try to scare the living daylights out of us. She has no fear of any of us cats- and that includes Dom and Holly and Ruby who hate kittens. |

Cordy pointed out to me that Anya's eyes are changing colour already and they're a sort of greeny-grey currently. I wonder what colour she'll end up with- bright green like me perhaps, or a more amber colour like Cordy and her Dad Olly? She's still a Kitten Prodigy though- on Sunday she sussed out how to use the cat flap into the cat garden because she wanted to follow her "Auntie" Izzy out and play. Poor Mum and Dad were already late for the Norsk Skogkatt Society Annual BBQ and they had to find a way of barricading her in whilst still letting the rest of us cats get into the cat garden if we wanted to. I think she timed it perfectly myself- it was hilarious to see Dad running round looking for something to use at the last second. Fair play to him though, he did well and she couldn't get over the barrier he put up! |

So she's now allowed out under supervision from me, Cordy, Willow and Izzy (plus Mum of course), and she loves to play out in the fresh air (or what passes for it in London!). At least she uses up lots of energy so she sleeps well. Dad says she doesn't sleep well enough though- she still wakes him up in the night by attacking his feet! I've tried to tell him it's a sign of affection, but he isn't having any of it! Mum says she entered a photo she took of Anya cuddled up to Dad into the Norsk Skogkatt Society's Photo Competition and it won 2 nd prize overall. Dad was furious 'cos he was asleep when it was taken and he didn't know it had been entered either! |

Re: Willow; well, what can I say? The girl is getting huge! She must be either having one ginormous kitten or several normal ones- we're all taking bets on how many she'll have and what colours they'll be. At least Anya will have other kittens to play with in a few weeks' time and we might get a rest. |
