Hello once again. Another week has flown by and it's hard to believe that it's time to write to you again. This week the weather has been cooler and we had rain which was a shock to the system- us cats had to keep running in from the cat garden to keep dry. |

Anya and her ball |
There has been some progress though; Mum and Dad have decided on a name for my baby finally! She's going to be called Anya (so her posh name will be Norskwood Anya), which I think suits her and so I shall give my approval. When Mum weighed her today she was 753 grammes. She is now eating kitten food and loves Tuna in Spring Water, but she loves her Mum's milk best of all. She has got used to the litter tray and normally manages to get her aim right- just occasionally she'll wee just outside it though (but we forgive her because she is only 5 weeks old after all!). Personally, I think I'm raising a kitten prodigy! |

She spends the night in bed with Mum and Dad and me and Cordy. Sometimes Ellwood is there too and Dewi so it gets a little cramped (mainly for Dad who gets pushed to the edge of the bed!). Poor Dad gets a rough deal from her really- if she wakes up in the night, she wants to play and will attack his feet if they're poking out from under the duvet, and then he yells in pain (we all snigger on the quiet!) She has even worked out how to climb onto the bed which isn't easy as it's made of pine and it's high (see what I mean about a kitten prodigy?!). She has had a go at climbing the stairs too- now, I'm not keen on this and I usually tell her off if she tries to go down unless Mum carries her into the living room. She often ignores me though and then Cordy and I have to round her up and bring her back. She is a kitten who knows her own mind (I wonder where she gets that from?!). |

Me in "Wash Mode"! |
Willow is getting bigger and bigger. Mum says she looks like she's swallowed a rugby ball (you can tell Mum and Dad are Welsh!). She's got over the hormonal mood strops now and is back to her usual self, just fatter round the tummy. We can't wait till her babies are born. Dad days she'd better not get too big as he isn't going to fit a bigger cat flap into the cat garden again- he had to rush out last year on May Bank Holiday and buy me one meant for small dogs because I got so large with kitten! And Willow should be due her kittens about the time of the August Bank Holiday….. oooh, how exciting! Perhaps we'll get to watch Dad doing DIY again, that is always entertaining. |

Right then, I feel a snooze coming on. It's a hard life looking after delinquent kittens, sorry, I mean Kitten Prodigies!
Love,
Buffy
