Well, here we are 3 weeks after my kitten was born and I’m pleased and amazed to say that she has over tripled her birth weight. She weighs 504 grammes now- over a pound Mum tells me because I don’t “do” metric! |

In Action

In the last couple of days she has become very active and she loves to be picked up and cuddled by Mum and especially by Dad- she is a real Daddy’s girl. If she hears one of us coming up the stairs, she’ll yell to be taken out of her kitten box and she particularly likes to play with me and Cordy on the bed. One of her favourite things is to wave her paws in the air for attention and to get her tummy tickled (or in my case, washed!). |

It’s a bit cooler this week, thank goodness. I’ve been able to spend more time snuggling with my baby rather than flaked out on the floor beside her! I suppose that she will want some “real” food soon and I’ll have a word with Mum about putting some down with some water for her, and maybe her own kitten sized litter tray too.

Cordy and I noticed that Willow looks rather round in the tummy- I wonder if she’ll be having babies soon? I’ve got loads of advice for her if she does, and I can recommend Cordy as a kitten sitter- she’s had lots of practise after all!

Right then, I’d better go. That kitten is getting up to all sorts of mischief and I’d better sort her out….
