Well another week has gone
by and my baby is now 2 weeks old. Mum has weighed her every day and
we’re all gobsmacked by how much she weighs now- it was 389
grammes today.

Snooze!
|
She is turning into a real
character. She loves to be clean, which is just as well with me as her
Mother. Last year I washed Cordelia, Sid and Jake so much that they all
had bald patches and looked like Norwegian Shorthaired Kittens, not
Norwegian Forest Kittens! I’ve noticed that she’s
even giving herself a good going over where she can reach- cleanliness
is next to godliness after all! She is
“perambulating” well now too (as Dad calls it), and
she’s got a loud voice when she wants something.

After I made my feelings known
about my greasy fur in no uncertain terms last week, Dad had a word
with a shop and came home with an air conditioning unit in his grubby
paws- hooray! He’s put it in the bedroom where the kitten, me
and Cordy will all get the benefit. I think that Mum appreciates it at
night too. If it’s hot for us cats, it must be hot for humans
too even though they don’t have as much fur as us.

Me and My Mum
|
We really need to think of a
good name for my baby- she is so beautiful that it will have to
something special. Cordelia and I (and Willow of course) are all named
after some telly programme that Mum likes, so maybe we’ll
carry on with one of those names.

|
Right then, I’d
better go and check on everything. I’ll be back next week-
I’m getting the hang of this typing now!
Love,
Buffy
