Well, what a strange old week it’s been! You know I said I’d find out what was happening when Mum and Dad left the house with a bag and all that? They were gone ages- in fact Dad didn’t come back till the next morning and Mum didn’t come back for 3 days! They got our neighbour to come in and feed us cats though that first day, which was good. But on the down side, she didn’t bring us her guinea pigs like we’d hoped! |

When Dad brought Mum home on the Thursday afternoon, she had a funny little human kitten/baby with her. Of course Anya was first up to investigate it and came and told me it didn’t have any fur apart from on it’s head- can you imagine a kitten with no fur? Well, actually I don’t have to imagine ‘cos 3 of mine last year were almost bald from where I over-washed them! Mum tells me she is a little girl and we’re to be nice to her because she’s so tiny. I’m fascinated with her and so is Anya- in fact most of us cats quite like her, and even tell Mum if she’s crying. Sometimes she sounds just like a proper little kitten.

Anya is still “helping” Willow and her babies. She loves them, but she’s still a bit too rough with them at times, so we keep our beady eyes on her just in case. Mum and Dad took Anya up to meet our nice vet on Tuesday and she had her first vaccination- she told me he was a nice man and let her play with the vaccine vial. Oh- I’ve just realised something… all the kittens and babies born to us here so far have been born on a Tuesday. That’s my first litter last year, Anya, Willow’s kittens and now Mum’s baby too. How strange! |

Willow is much better this week and is eating properly. She even plays with us sometimes and it’s good to see her recover because we were all worried about her. Her kittens are lovely and are beginning to play with toys and each other- and of course with Anya too! |

The other big news is that Cordy decided that she wanted babies of her own and came into call on Sunday night. Mum and Dad took her to our Auntie Julie’s house to meet her new boyfriend who came over from Norway in April- an actual Norwegian Forest Cat from Norway, how exciting! Can’t wait to find out how she got on, but I miss her terribly. |

Ok then, that’s enough for now I think. It’s a lovely day so I might meander into the cat garden and sunbathe for a while…
