  Champion Catwo Sunndance 'Buffy'

Let me be frank; Norwegian Forest Cats are addictive! How else could I explain the fact that I acquired 4 within a year (Ellwood, Dewi, Dominic and Buffy)

Catwo Sunndance aka Buffy the Frog Slayer (don't ask!), was the next logical step after showing our neutered boys.  Buffy was our first breeding queen much to Steve's surprise (he still maintains that I didn't discuss this with him!), brought home so that we could have the pleasure of kittens as babies without having to find room for them on a permanent basis, and therefore have enough room in the house to live. Plus there was the added bonus of being able to do our best to ensure that this lovely breed continues to grow and prosper in the UK .

Buffy came to live with us in June 2004 and settled in well. She gets on well with all the other cats, but especially with Spike (you'd think they were an old married couple when they sit together and hold paws!). She also loves all the other girls, and being very keen on cleanliness, makes sure they have a good washing every day. Buffy has a very sweet, placid nature, enjoys playing in the cat garden and adores being groomed. She is an excellent mother and had six wonderful kittens to Elfantanz Othello in May 2005.

She is a very pretty dilute Blue Silver Tortie Tabby and did well at shows as a kitten. She went to a few shows before she had her first litter of kittens and did moderately well (being placed at most of them in very large classes of lovely Adult girls). We took Buffy to the Capital Longhair and Semi-Longhair Show on 7th January 2006 where she came 1st in her Open class, won Best of Breed and did very well in side classes.

On 29th January 2006 we took Buffy to a FIFe show (our first ever), which was a Viking Cat Club Norwegian Forest Cat Special. She did us proud by winning her first CAC as well as being put through to the final of the Norwegian Forest Cat Special and nominated for Best in Show.

On the last weekend in February 2006, Buffy went to a 2 day FIFe show in Peterborough and attained certificates both days, making her a FIFe Champion! She also did extremely well at the GCCF Essex Cat Club show in April 2006, where she came 1st in her Open class of 10 girls, obtained her 2nd CC and was also Best of Breed.

Buffy and Elefentanz Othello produced a single gorgeous kitten on 11th July 2006. After Buffy's litter of 7 (6 survived) last year, this was a bit of a shock! Her kitten Anya will be staying with us. Read Buffy's Kitten Diary all about Anya's early kittenhood!

Buffy was looking good after having Anya, so we took her to the Kentish Cat Club Show on 21st October 2006, where she won her Open Class and obtained her 3rd CC making her a GCCF Champion! Since then she's been to 2 FIFe shows (the Winner's Show in Bracknell and the Semilonghair in Swanley) where she won her first two International Champion certificates and at Swanley was Best in Variety and up for Nomination as well. We took Buffy to the FIFe show at Edenbridge, Kent at the end of February 2007. She won her Class and her 3rd International Champion certificate - only 2 more to go!
